Susan Krisch is an Artist, Art Therapist, and Reiki practitioner based in South Philadelphia. Susan received a BA in Psychology and Fine Arts at Rutgers University in 2011, and completed a MA in Counseling and Art Therapy at Drexel University in 2015. As an artist, Susan's focus is the process and act of creation and its connection to identity, experience and emotion. Susan’s artwork is inspired by both professional work and the journey to understand self and surrounding world, and is used as a way to explore connection, disconnection, loss, growth, truth, and finding voice.

In Susan's work as an Art therapist and healing practitioner, she places focus on the individual's unique needs, goals, and encourages a sense of agency and empowerment in one's own ability to heal the self. Susan is currently working towards licensure (ATR-BC and LPC), and is currently Reiki level 1 certified. Susan has pursued additional training around trauma-informed approaches, holistic and mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. 

Susan has also hosted and taught workshops for children and adults on art-making and art therapy.
